Event: Poetry Reading Circle on Sept 13th!

Hi friends,

For the poets among you, it’s easy to feel stuck these days. I’m working on a manuscript(!!) at the moment, and some days looking at my own work is exhausting…as a great philosopher once said, I’m My Own Worst Enemy (the philosopher was the band Lit).

That’s why I’m so excited to share this new event, happening September 13th in Temperance Alley Garden: A Poetry Reading Circle! This event is specifically designed to encourage mutual appreciation and, well, encouragement of your fellow poets! Below is a full description; check out the event on the Temperance Alley Garden website:

Creatives Club Poetry Workshop presents an afternoon of casual and cozy poetry reading in the Garden! Come share a new poem you’re working on, an old one you’re proud of, or perhaps a poem by an author that inspires you. This session is designed to get you comfortable with reading and listening in poetic community, so we welcome you to share a piece at any stage of the writing process – no critiques here!

That’s all for now; I’m deep in the throes of grad school currently, but I hope to share more news about my manuscript and publications as it develops. Stay cool, everyone!
