Girls on Toast is your new favorite girl band. Mixing serious messages with an upbeat sound, their approach to punk is reminiscent of 90s female-led bands like Hole and Veruca Salt and also, unfortunately(?), Weezer.
Their lyrics reflect the pain, angst, humor, and fun of girlhood and queer identity, while their drum beats and basslines create danceable grooves. Girls on Toast also packs a punch with their singing, creating layered harmonies with all three members. All in all, Girls on Toast is a silly band with unsilly messages.
